You should know the difference between an “as-is” machine and a “refurbished machine.” As-is machines are copiers that have just been used and may have been cleaned up a bit before a dealer sells them. They are usually attached with a 14 day warranty and after that you are on your own.
A refurbished machine, on the other hand, is one that has been thoroughly gone through, cleaned and had essential parts replaced before it is sold by a dealer. Refurbished machines are brought up to factory standards and generally come with a 30, 60, 0r 90 day warranty because the dealer has more faith in their ability to holdup to use.
